WACK! is a display typeface created to emulate Haring's art style, it seeks to honour his artistic trajectory. The idea was born out of a design challenge in which we would imagine what certain artists' typefaces would look like. The process was simple but laborious: have a look at Haring's artwork and synthesize it in order to apply the design constants found in his work to an alphabet, thus creating a typeface.
WACK! es una tipografía display creada para emular el estilo artístico de Keith Haring: busca honrar su trayectoria artística. La idea nació de un desafío de diseño en el que debimos imaginar cómo lucirían las tipografías de algunos artistas. El proceso fue sencillo pero laborioso: estudiar la obra pictórica de Haring y sintetizarla, con el fin de aplicar las constantes de diseño presentes en su obra a un alfabeto, creando así una tipografía.
